Scope of our services

We provide accounting, taxation, business advisory, structuring and administration services. Our investment-related work concerns the ownership structure, tax treatment and reporting of assets. We do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence, and we do not provide financial product advice or recommend investments. We are not the auditor of any self-managed superannuation fund we administer; audits are carried out by an independent approved SMSF auditor.

Privacy

We collect personal information — such as your name, contact details and financial information — only where it is reasonably necessary to provide our services or to meet our legal obligations. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it to regulators such as the ATO and ASIC, to an independent auditor, or to service providers who assist us in delivering our services, and we require those providers to protect it. Information is retained for as long as required by law and destroyed or de-identified once it is no longer needed.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing admin@hdogroup.com.au. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you may refer the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Website analytics

We use privacy-preserving analytics to understand how this site is used. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
