Charles Zou
Charles leads HDO Advisory's tax, structuring and transaction work. He advises private business owners, investors and family groups on how their entities are put together — and what that structure will cost or save them over the next decade, not just this financial year.
He began his career in a Big Four practice, and that discipline still shows in how the firm works: written scope before any advice, positions documented against the legislation, and files that hold up when the ATO or an acquirer looks at them. What changed is the scale — clients now deal with a Director directly.
Charles is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Registered Tax Agent and an ASIC Registered Agent. He works in English and Mandarin, and much of his practice sits with cross-border families and founders who need both systems explained in the same conversation.
